Jack Drawing

Jack came to work this Saturday. We ate in the same Thai restaurant that I took Jane last weekend. In fact we were sitting at the very same table, right next to the salt water fish tank (a popular table with the kids). We talked about futuristic vehicles, so he drew this police anti-gravity motorcycle while I drew him drawing. I filled out the environment a little more than in the Jane sketch, since we were taking a little more time.

Jack was explaining to me how the anti-gravity engine works on this thing. Very cool!

Great sketch. Love the idea of you both drawing together. Diane.

Welcome José and Bill! Thanks Diane, it seems like he and I spend a lot of time drawing together. Jack invented a game called "drawing wars" which is very funny and worthy of its own post some time.

I imagine a fellow drawer would be a perfect model, I'd think they'd be much more understanding about holding still, looks like that was the case with your son, how nice too to have him to draw with! do all your kids share your love of drawing? even if it's just one of them having someone in your household to draw with must be so wonderful, I've been trying to persuade my friends to join me but so far no takers, terrific sketches from the two of you, yes a cool vehicle!

and I haven't seen spiderman 3 yet, I always stay to the end and read all the credits, will I see your name listed? it will be fun for the first time to be able to say, hey I know him!

Love the sketch and all the details you decided to include in it.
What a cool vehicle he drew there.

Thanks Cin and France. Jack wants to become a character designer, so he's always coming up with interesting characters and devices.

My name is up on the end credits for Spider-Man 3, although the credits roll by pretty quickly :) Just after "Storyboard Artists" there's a section for "Animatic Artists" and mine is the last one in that block (Zierhut of course being a "Z" name, it gets the end spot).
