Last night at our local eatery I turned to see the kids engaged in some animated discussions so I had to sketch them. Lily is seen here drawing the charming little sketch below:
Hey Anthony... love the last few posts. I think your mistress is quite beautiful... he he. And your daughter has some talent as an illustrator I can already see.
I hope all is well.
My adventure has just really started and is going wonderfully. First finished sketch to come later tonight.
I really like your sketches. Some really fresh looking drawings
Do you mind if I ask what ink you use in your fountian pens (that is, if the watercoloured ones are drawn with fountian pens), I am finding it hard to find an ink that doesn't either block the pen, or run with the water colours.
Thanks for the nice words Matthew. Thanks to a tip from Mattias Adolfson (I asked him what the heck he was using in his fountain pens that could take a wash) I now use Noodlers American Eel ink exclusively in my fountain pens. An ingenious ink that only dries on paper, not in the nib of a fountain pen. Perfect for washes.

Hey Matt -- thanks! It's great reading your European travel blog. I look forward to seeing that sketch.
Brilliant, Anthony. Such a great sketch, but I think I prefer Lily's. If you don't mind me saying!
