I drew him looking a couple years younger than he really is for some reason. It might be the angle, or maybe I foreshortened him too much, hmmm. He's writing a presidential speech for school. I like his scholarly posture.
a wonderful composition that leads my eye to the wonderful look of concentration on his face, also your beautiful easy flowing lines, just a beautiful page.
Your sketches of home and family are so immediate and deeply felt---I always feel as if I'm in the room with all of you when I look at them. As I've said a million times before, what a gift you're giving your family (and yourself) with this visual record you're making, month in and month out.
... or maybe you don't want to see him grow up TOO fast :-) Another interesting slice of life you depict: Jack's pose, the details all around, the light on the armchair -- delightful.
I know I keep saying this but, I love the comfortable, homey feeling that your drawings capture. It's a good thing that Jack is conducting himeself in such a serious manner! Maybe the forshortening is a bit of a wistful slip of the pencil...

Thanks Cindy and Laura!

Fantastic perspective! Love the grey tones. You've got some nice loose linework in your sketches.
