End of an era
Yesterday was my last day working on Spider-Man 3, after two years and two months. Actually, with only a small intermission between Spidey 2 and Spidey 3, I'd been employed with that great crew since June 2002, doing previs and animatics mostly. Now it's off to a new film, new crew, new adventure. I'll miss working there, as it was a fantastic experience and it will certainly be a fantastic movie.

I can't wait for this movie! I'm a Tobey Maguire fan, wow that's so cool you worked on it, so you like know everything?!!!
Just about everything, but I'm swarn to secrecy. I'm mostly familiar with the action scenes, because that's what they had us work on; but there are parts of it, mostly the dramatic bits, that I haven't seen and look forward to seeing it all together as one piece when it comes out. Grant Curtis, the co-producer and the man in charge of our department has a wonderful official blog here.
Congratulations! And your next gig is what....two doors down?? Enjoy your time off and have fun on the new production. Jerry
Ha! Thanks Jerry, yep word travels fast in our business. Two doors down it is! Time off? I had a weekend off between productions. And you have fun on your show too.
