Taking a break

She owns the restaurant we go to for lunch sometimes. This was the first time I'd seen her stop moving long enough to be sketched.

This sketch really gets the 'weight' of the way she's sitting right. Nice

Beautifully done, Anthony. I notice especially the structure of her back, her expression which is both intense and unreadable, and her posture which says so much about who she is and young she is. All of that in a sketch---that's a whole lot.

You got so much in here Anthony. Funny Laura should mention her back -- that's what struck me first. The small of her back and her posture, so well drawn. I love your lines, which are not squeaky clean.

There's something so evocative and atmospheric in this drawing. Her body language says so much and it's neat how you got her tatoos in there too.

You've captured a feeling here, it is in the small peek of her expression and drawn so well through her body posture. Anyone who works can feel the cord you've struck.
