Not on the phone

When I first looked up and saw this couple, he was on the cell phone and she was sitting there with that classic, all-too-familiar bored and slightly uncomfortable expression of someone waiting for the other person to get off the phone. By the time I got the sketchbook out, he was off the phone and back with her. So I had to draw what I was looking at. Oh well.

Man, do I love those lines! you always do so well with posture and facial expressions, too. And the sketch below is fantastic---I'm an idiot about perspective, so I doubly admire your ease with it.
It makes me want to lean a little closer and eavesdrop on their conversation. They both look like interesting smart people. Nice work as always.
I agree wit Laura and Jana, I love admire your style and ease with lines and form. Love the story's that accompany the moments in time.
Gosh we could have so much fun trying to interpret the conversation behind that body language. I like her posture in particular - very real.
maybe off the phone is a better pose, you've definitely captured the connection between these two, the pose of their hands beautifully done!
Great I loved your blog.
