I left the studio momentarily to walk across the street for a cup of coffee. After ordering my double-latte I noticed that two out of the three people sitting in there were reading movie scripts. This guy was taking notes on his. Hollywood.
What medium did you use for this. Is it all pencil? How about the areas that look more shaded, like the picture frame? I especially like the stripes on his shirt.
It's all pencil - a 6b (very soft) to be exact. I use one of those smudge stumps for pastel to rub the graphite around. Sometimes it looks kind of "airbrushy".
